About me
The professional bit
I’m a designer & illustrator with a strong creative instinct and a love for visual storytelling.
My experience spans product and graphic design, branding, illustration and packaging. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, bringing fresh ideas, adaptability and a thoughtful approach to each project.
Experienced across digital and physical formats, combining hand-drawn illustration, packaging design, layout work and CAD modelling to create presentation-ready visuals. I hold a First-Class degree in Product Design & Innovation and a Professional Diploma in UX Design.
The Human bit
I surround myself with colour, craft supplies and dogs, ideally all three at the same time. My route into freelancing wasn’t a leap of faith; it was more of a nudge from life after two redundancies. Now I’m building a creative career on my own terms, and it finally feels like the right direction.
I’m a maker at heart. If it involves yarn, paper, ink, or a new craft I absolutely don’t have space for, I’m already halfway through it…even if my living room occasionally looks like hobbycraft has exploded (many apologies to my poor partner, Thomas).
I’m also a shameless dog person and am devoted to my two miniature dachshunds. Clemmie is usually glued to my side because she’s a full‑time social butterfly who believes every living being is her new best friend. Pepper, on the other hand, prefers to keep her circle small and her standards high. They run my life, my schedule, and often my sanity.
One of the nicest surprises of freelancing has been the people I’ve met so far. Through the dreaded ‘networking’, I’ve actually found a group of creatives who feel like home and I’m so grateful for this community.
This is the bit of me that sits behind my work: the colour, curiosity, resilience, and love for people and their stories. All of it shapes the way I design and illustrate. The work I do now feels like an extension of the things that matter to me, which is probably why it feels like the right place to be.
